First Line Friday – 25 August 2017 – Will Not See (Chautona Havig)

Welcome First Liners! I hope you’ve had a good week. I’m in the middle of a fascinating read by Chautona Havig at the moment, the second in her Sight Unseen series. The first book in the series, None So Blind, tells the story of Daniella Weeks, a woman who wakes up one morning in bed with her husband but has no memory of who she is, or who HE is, for that matter. Can you imagine?! The doctors can’t work out why she suffered such staggering memory loss, and she had quite a journey to deal with that loss and work out the answer to ‘what now?’. A year later, another woman has found herself in the same position, and that is the story in Will Not See. However, whereas the first book in the series had more of a women’s fiction feel to it, this one definitely has more suspense! And I’m intrigued!
