~ About the Book ~
Three weeks. That’s all the time self-made billionaire Cooper Anderson has to respond to discovering he’s a single dad, sell his lake house, and catch a one-way ticket across the world. The quick-witted nanny responding to his ad couldn’t be more of a life saver … and maybe a nice distraction. Until the secrets she’s hiding get a little too close to exposing his own.

I clicked on the link for your page first, and then jumped over to Carries to read the lines in order. Yes, it leaves more questions than answers. I just purchased this book yesterday, and I can’t wait to read it. I do have several books stacked ahead of it. Maybe it will just make me read faster!

Here’s the first line from a book I happily flipped through again this past week: A Portrait of Emily Price by Katherine Reay.
“Piccolo. The restaurant matched its name-a tiny and delicate white stucco building with a short, neat brick wall leading from its front door to the parking lot.”

Awesome second line! And the book description sounds like it’s right up my alley.
I’m reading The Engagement Plot by Krista Phillips. Here’s the first line:
Hanna Knight clicked the Power button on the radio as she inched the Dodge Ram pickup down the snow-covered highway. Embarrass, Minnesota, was only a few miles farther.
Okay, so I had to include that second sentence because Embarrass as a place name? That’s even weirder than Iola (Iola, Wisconsin, and Iola, Kansas. I’ll have to visit one day).

I’ve often been amused by the place names that came up in that ‘Love Finds You In…’ series. But then again, I’m not sure I can talk, with our Wagga Wagga, Wangi, Wooloomooloo, Woodenbong and so on!
