~ Christmas with Amber Lynn Perry ~

Favourite Christmas carol: Without question my favorite carol is O Holy Night. I never cease to be moved by the words–the second verse especially:

Led by the light of faith serenely beaming,
With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand.
O’er the world a star is sweetly gleaming,
Now come the wisemen from out of the Orient land.
The King of kings lay thus lowly manger;
In all our trials born to be our friends.
He knows our need, our weakness is no stranger,
Behold your King! Before him lowly bend!
Behold your King! Before him lowly bend!

Gorgeous words!

Favourite Christmas memory:  On Christmas day 10 years ago, my then fiancé and I flew to UT to prepare for our wedding 4 days later. My parents came along to assist, and it was one the best, most relaxing, most joyful Christmases of my life.

Wow! A Christmas wedding! How beautiful. And happy upcoming anniversary. 🙂

My ideal Christmas Day weather: SNOW!!! It’s so secret that I love all kinds of weather, however rain and snow have a particular place in my heart. There’s nothing like the cozy feeling you get listening to Christmas music and smelling cookies in the oven while beautiful white flakes are floating to the ground.

I am SO going to make sure I have a white Christmas before my time here on earth is done!

What’s one of your family’s Christmas traditions? One of our favorite times as a family is when we put up the decorations. It’s thrilling to see the excitement in my children’s eyes and to watch them get out all the ornaments as if they are long lost friends. I will treasure those memories.

If I was sitting on Santa’s knee right now, I’d ask him for . . . Well, if we are being purely selfish here, I would ask for a new microwave and range. LOL!! Hey, a mom can dream, right?

Definitely!

~ About the Book ~

With only three days to decide her fate, Margaret Main must make a choice: concede to the demands of her parents, or keep the vow she made to her beloved sister-in-law. The answer is simple, the solution less so. For to keep her word and her freedom, she must marry the only man she’s ever loved, with the knowledge he may never love her in return.

Holdwell Estate is his home, the place of his youth—his future. To keep it, Marcus Wells must find a woman willing to marry him by morning. For years he was warned against giving away his heart, against the damage love would surely bring upon him. But this woman is far too lovely, far too spirited and kind. How can he keep himself from giving away the one thing he knows, once gone, will be lost forever…
